BOC Sciences Launches Fluorescent Labeling Service of Proteins for Science Community
With the concerted efforts of its scientists, BOC Sciences recently released fluorescent labeling service to facilitate the research work in the scientific community, adding to its already existing service portfolio encompassing custom synthesis, process R&D, bioconjugation, carbohydrate synthesis, and more.
Fluorescent labelling is the process of covalently binding fluorescent dyes to biomolecules such as nucleic acids or proteins so that they can be visualized by fluorescence imaging. In addition, other biomolecules such as antibodies, peptides, ligands, synthetic oligonucleotides can also be labeled if needed. It is considered as an invaluable technique and is widely applied in experiments in order to understand protein functions and networks in living cells.
“When these biomolecules are labeled with fluorescent molecules, researchers find a way to observe protein dynamics, localization, and protein-protein interactions,” commented Mr. Barron Jones, the Marketing Chief of BOC Sciences, in an interview after the launching.
“We have developed various labeling techniques to meet different needs from the research community, such as enzymatic labeling, protein labeling, genetic labeling and quantum dot,” he further added.
The comprehensive labeling range is listed as follows:
- Enzymatic labeling
- Chemical labeling
- Protein labeling
- Genetic labeling
- Quantum dot labeling
With advanced technology and rich experience in this field, different kinds of fluorescent reagents and labeling kits can be easily accessed at BOC Sciences. To get more information about fluorescent labeling service, please visit https://www.bocsci.com/fluorescent-labeling-of-proteins.html.
