Queensgate Instrument’s latest state-of-the art nanopositioning stages for high resolution microscopy are now available on the New Agar Scientific website.

queensgate logoThe XYZ systems offer best-in-class stability for SPM and AFM applications, while the OSM objective scanner and SSM sample scanners use Queensgate’s patented Dual Sensor Technology™ to ‘self-tune’ – optimising performance as loads change without operator intervention.

Unlike traditional strain gauge products, all Queensgate stages use a capacitive sensor position feedback to deliver the highest accuracy and stability available.  These sensors are also available separately as the NX/NZ series of Nanosensors and Queensgate also offers custom solutions, specifically designed to meet specific applications.

Founded in 1979 as a spin-out from Imperial College, London, Queensgate is at the forefront of nano and pico positioning device. These include one, two and three axis stages, rotational, tip and tip tilt as well as a large range of capacitive plate measuring devices with sub-atomic resolution. In addition to the nanopositioning stages and sensors, Queensgate offers a range of actuators/translators. These are uniquely also available with capacitive senor control using Queensgate advanced control electronics and software.
