At the heart of the 40L and 60L benchtop autoclaves is Tactrol®3, a microprocessor controller which is central to the autoclave functionality. And for laboratories that have repeat sterilizing cycles, nothing is easier that storing a set-up into one of 5 Programmable Memories. Other standard features include built-in cooling and free-steaming systems, drain protection (required by many building codes and not necessary standard on all cost-conscious autoclaves currently available) and a USB connect to download data. These basic models are also pre-piped to accommodate an optional air intake filtration system if required.
