Cylindrical Autoclaves Improve Lab Sterilising Efficiency
The theoretical design of cylindrical chamber autoclaves has clear and distinct sterilizing operational advantages. It can handle high temperatures and pressures despites a design that has thinner walls than rectangular/square chamber autoclaves. With less metal to heat up it makes the whole steam sterilizing process faster. They are better suited to high pressure micro-environments, require less reinforcement and insulation, and suffer less wear and tear over the life of the autoclave.
Also, the round design tends to prevent ‘loads’ being densely packed right up to the chamber wall, preventing cold pockets, thus assuring complete sterilization without excess cycle times. As a result, there is better steam circulation, for a more efficient sterilizing cycle, and generally without the need for additional assistance with air removal such as vacuum system or pulse steaming.
Such is the potential for savings on energy and water usage, the Priorclave free-standing, front-loading research grade laboratory autoclaves are a popular choice with colleges, research facilities (small and large), universities, testing labs, and industrial. Benefits include lower maintenance, substantial energy, water, and lifetime cost savings.
Models are available with choice of chamber capacity, from 100 to 400L. They offer a low loading height and wide door swing; this allows easier loading of heavy loads from a trolley.
These front-loading autoclaves incorporate advanced technology including the very latest version of the Priorclave TACTROL®3 controller, the user interface features a hi-res digital display screen and offers a more streamlined approach to programming the sterilising settings.
All our research grade laboratory autoclaves, including the Priorclave front-loading cylindrical chamber models are manufacture entirely in the UK design and production centre.
The build quality and performance of the Priorclave cylindrical front-loading autoclaves is unquestionable - durable and dependable. They incorporate epoxy coated panels and frame members treated with an anti-bacterial agent that is highly effective and permanent treatment for control of harmful bacteria, making surfaces cleaner, more hygienic and providing durable lifelong protection against the threat of cross contamination. This tough special epoxy finish is proven to reduce bacterial growth by up to 99.99% and is highly effective against MRSA, E coli, Listeria, Legionella, Campylobacter, Salmonella, Pseudomonas and over fifty other species.
The front-loading research grade laboratory autoclaves are part of an impressive autoclave range, with capacities from 40l up to 850L
