Lab Innovations is a unique opportunity for you to meet new suppliers, source the latest products, learn from industry experts and network with colleagues all under one roof!

Lab-BannerHeld on 6 - 7 November at the NEC Birmingham, Lab Innovations will feature a large array of leading exhibiting companies showing their latest products from laboratory equipment, analytical equipment, cleanroom technology to biotechnology & life sciences.

This year, over 40% of exhibitors are using the show to launch new technologies and services for the first time in the UK.

Featured exhibitors include:

Thermo Fisher, Anton Paar, Bruker, Bibby Scientific, 3M, Butterworth Laboratories, ELGA, Sartorius and many more.

Not only will you be the first to see the latest innovations and technology available in the laboratory market, but Lab Innovations will also host technical seminars complied by Campden BRI and a free conference produced by The Royal Society of Chemistry.

Show highlights include:

Lab kit that changed the world

In a unique session, listen to Andrea Sella as he delves into the names behind well-established lab apparatus such as the Büchner funnel or the Liebig condenser. Who were these people and how did they come to invent these pieces of glassware or apparatus?

How good are we at predicting the future?

Join Lord Professor Robert Winston as he explores some of the most important developments of recent times that did not show the slightest commercial value at the time of discovery and how in many cases their real value to society was in a total different field from that in what it was envisaged.

It’s a Bug’s Life – Taste the Microorganism

Campden BRI will demonstrate how the food industry utilises the properties of different microorganisms to develop taste and texture in different foods. Samples will be provided for tasting and explanations given about how different bugs are harnessed for the benefit of food producers.

Distinguishing Flavours of Alcoholic beverages

Dr Debbie Parker will demonstrate individual flavours that are found in  a range of alcoholic beverages. With examples of flavours that characterise different styles of beers, such as lagers, ales and stouts, and common flavours found in ciders and wines, the talk will finish with a practical tasting.

Lions’ Lair

See the bravest exhibitors pitch their best products and services to a panel of industry experts not afraid to speak their minds! This is a great opportunity to see suppliers’ products put to the test in an entertaining session.

Register free today and not only will you receive fast track entry during the show but you'll also get exclusive first look access on all the product launches happening at the show delivered straight to your inbox.
