Precisa Gravimetrics AG is delighted to announce that it has successfully passed the EU/OIML and UKCA certification for their 520 PT and PB analytical and precision balances, designed and manufactured in Switzerland.

The EU/OIML and UKCA certification provides assurance to Precisa Series 520 balance users that their equipment can be verified meet the official standards required by governmental bodies and industry regulations.

OIML Accreditation

The International Organisation of Legal Metrology (OIML) is an intergovernmental body which regulates the global standards of legal metrology procedures. Approved OIML scales and balances have been tested by an Approved Standards Laboratory to meet with published standards that match criteria covering the metrology, operation, manufacture, security, labelling and electromagnetic characteristics of the scale or balance. Devices which meet the criteria are issued with a Certificate of Conformity.
