New Carbohydrate Capillary Column for Underderivatized Monosaccharide Analysis
Thermo Fisher Scientific is pleased to announce a new carbohydrate column, the Thermo Scientific™ CarboPac™ PA10 (0.4 x 50 mm) Capillary Column, optimized for the high sensitivity determination of amino, neutral, and acidic monosaccharides found in carbohydrate moieties of mammalian glycoproteins. The column is also ideal for the separation of alditols and sugars in matrices such as fruits and vegetables
This new polymeric column is packed with 10 μm diameter non-porous beads featuring a cross-linked structure to ensure long column life and stability from pH 0–14 at all concentrations of buffer salts. Advantages of this column include simple, isocratic separations, gradient compatibility, and sample derivatization is not required.
The column should be of interest to researchers and chemists in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical markets.
