IDT shares its expertise at qPCR 2010 in Vienna
Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT), the world leader in oligonucleotide synthesis, will be presenting at the upcoming qPCR 2010 International Symposium, 7 - 9 April, in Vienna. Dr Mark Behlke, IDT's Chief Scientific Officer will talk about, ‘Hydrolysis probes with improved quenching and performance', which addresses the requirement for efficient quenching to optimise probe performance. The presentation will also introduce IDT's newly developed dual-quenching probe technology that enables the placement of an internal quencher within close proximity to the 5' fluorophore, in addition to the 3' quencher, thereby improving the probe's quencher performance. This new quencher significantly reduces background fluorescence for highly precise and sensitive results.
As a Gold Sponsor of qPCR 2010, IDT will also be exhibiting at the show, so for further information, please speak to the IDT representatives at Booth 2, or visit www.idtdna.com.
