Alicat Brings Gas Chromatography Precision to Pittcon
Mass flow controllers increase accuracy and repeatability of GC analysis
Alicat Scientific, Inc., will display its line of laboratory mass flow controllers during Pittcon 2013, March 17 to 23 in Philadelphia, Pa. The company’s line of MC Series Mass Flow Controllers can improve results in a wide range of gas-dependent measurements and are especially useful for ensuring accuracy in gas chromatography applications.
Alicat meters and controllers measure mass flow using differential pressure, which results in a fast and accurate response. With a choice of 30 user-programmable gases, one instrument can be used for a variety of setups, ensuring stable and consistent gas delivery. Its 200:1 turndown ratio covers a wide flow range with a single instrument. Accurate even at the ultra low full-scale flow rates of some experiments, Alicat’s devices can handle flows as low as 0.5SCCM.
With an integrated digital display, users can change the configuration of a meter right at the bench. Analog and digital communication allow full system integration for more complex lab setups.
