Hands-on learning and personalized consulting sessions for mass flow meter and controller users during the show

alicat uAlicat Scientific will bring a new learning program to Pittcon 2015, March 9 – 12, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center (New Orleans, Louisiana). The company’s display of mass flow and pressure instrumentation in booth number 2238 will be joined by a new series of educational and consulting sessions, Alicat U.

Alicat meters and controllers measure mass flow using differential pressure, which results in a fast and accurate response. With a choice of up to 130 user-programmable gases, one instrument can be used for a variety of setups, ensuring stable and consistent gas delivery. At Alicat U, Alicat Applications Engineers will guide Pittcon visitors through the many permutations of multi-parameter flow and pressure control, flow calibration and verification, leak testing, and flow characterization setups possible with Alicat instruments. Hands-on demonstrations of typical application setups will illustrate how Alicat’s speed can save time and operational expense.

Alicat U sessions on Wednesday, March 11 include:

  • Alicat in Your Lab
  • Flow & Leak Testing
  • Calibration & Metrology
  • Process Pressure Control

For one-on-one applications discussions, Alicat U is also offering two “Personal Consulting” sessions with Alicat Applications Engineers. During these times, visitors can use Alicat’s Pittcon laboratory to simulate application parameters and diagnose potential issues ahead of time.

Detailed session information and pre-registration can be found at www.alicat.com/pittcon. All sessions will be held Wednesday, March 11, in Seminar Room A (SRA), conveniently located at the end of Aisle 2500 on the show floor.
