UK's largest scientific instrumentation distributor exhibits at CHEMUK 2023
SciMed to share insight into the equipment and techniques that are helping the laboratory industry modernise and optimise at this year’s CHEMUK Expo
SciMed, the leading supplier of scientific instrumentation in the UK and Ireland, will return to exhibit at CHEMUK in 2023, bringing expert knowledge of the cutting edge of laboratory equipment in industry and academia, including material characterisation systems and ultrasonic processors. To meet SciMed’s team and hear about some of the innovative instruments it supplies in person, visit stand M62 at CHEMUK on May 10 and 11 at the NEC, Birmingham.
At CHEMUK 2023, SciMed will share expertise on instruments used in a broad range of sectors from polymers and petrochemicals to catalysis and chemical manufacturing. The team can help with material properties investigation, processing and analysis capabilities and discuss how visitors to the trade expo can best optimise their practices.
Paul Vanden Branden, director and product manager at SciMed, explained, “At this year’s CHEMUK, we will speak to new and existing customers about the cutting edge equipment that can help their business take the next step forward. Whether scientists are seeking advice on which instrument will best suit their laboratory needs or support in proof of concept testing, our team can help.
“We, at SciMed, take pride in helping scientists, engineers and technicians overcome analytical and process challenges, so the chance to meet and hear from customers and users directly is one we value highly. CHEMUK is a fantastic opportunity to bring the entire chemical industry together and build relations to benefit all parties.”
SciMed can share insight into new lab equipment designed to make laboratory work more sustainable without compromising results quality or research budgets. These include supercritical fluid extraction instruments, which use environmentally benign CO2 instead of harmful hexane, and a inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry range that can halve the volume of argon that’s conventionally required. Read SciMed’s whitepaper on sustainability for more information and other applications.
