Gardner Denver’s Medical Group, a leader in flow control solutions primarily for medical and laboratory sectors, has announced the acquisition of Innovative Labor Systeme GmbH and Zinsser Analytic GmbH.

ILS is a leading manufacturer of glass syringes and a global supplier to the world’s leading laboratory equipment manufacturers, laboratories and laboratory consumables distributors. ILS is located in Stützerbach, Thuringia, Germany, which is an area with a long history of glass manufacturing.

ZA, headquartered in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, is an established provider of customized laboratory solutions and complementary consumable products. ZA has unique capabilities in developing automated fluid and powder handling systems for the biochemical, pharmaceutical and diagnostic research markets. ZA’s consumables product portfolio includes scintillation cocktails and high quality polyethylene vials.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Corporate Finance provided M&A advisory services to Gardner Denver during this transaction. The legal teams of Norton Rose Fulbright in Frankfurt and Houston provided legal advisory services to Gardner Denver during this transaction.
