Anton Paar Install the Latest SAXPOINT 2.0 System at University of Bath
Dr Peter Worsch, Product Specialist and Dr Nishil Malde, Product Manager from Anton Paar have successfully installed the latest SAXSpoint 2.0 system at the University of Bath this week.
This will be used as a centralised resource within the Materials & Chemistry Characterisation (MC2) department. It was a great week working with Prof. Karen Edler, Dr Adam Squires and Dr Rémi Castaing.
Prof. Karen Edler said … “the SAXSpoint is going to greatly enhance the study of functional nano-structure and hierarchical materials from sustainable materials for personal care products to nanoparticles for drug delivery. The high flux and flexible range of sample environments will also allow colleagues from other departments (Biology, Engineering, Pharmacy & Physics) to measure everything from thin films on surfaces to dilute protein solutions in an automated fashion. The SAXSpoint is ideally suited to a multi user environment, allowing rapid changes between sample environments and Anton Paar have developed some bespoke sample holders for our “difficult” samples”.
