Pittcon 2014 Announces Exposition Highlights
This year’s exposition welcomes 114 first-time exhibiting companies.
The Pittcon 2014 Exposition, which takes place March 3-6 at McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois, will include 926 exhibitors (count as of February 10, 2014) displaying products and services used by the scientific community in industrial, academic, and government labs. The Exposition will offer the latest innovations in areas such as, but not limited to, analytical chemistry; drug discovery; nanotechnology; life sciences to include forensics, genomics, proteomics, metabolomics; food analysis and safety; environmental science; energy and fuel; and air, water and wastewater analysis.
The global exhibition will consist of 209 (approximately 23%) exhibiting companies headquartered in 31 countries outside of the United States such as the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, China, France, Germany, and Italy. The 504,320 square foot (total footage) exposition floor will include 1,753 booths and 26 seminar rooms (counts as of February 10). This year, Pittcon will be welcoming 114 new exhibitors.
This year’s Platinum Sponsors are Shimadzu and Waters; Gold Sponsors are ABSciex and Sigma-Aldrich; and Silver Sponsors are Chemplex, Hamamatsu and Parker Balston.
Exposition amenities include complimentary mixers on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons; free souvenir and apples available in booth 4840 and 544; a twitter feed, complimentary publications from leading publishers and rest areas in Millennium Park; a keepsake digital photo in the Pittcon 2014 booth #4468; and a Relaxation Station sponsored by Shimadzu.
