Scientific Laboratory Supplies (SLS) are pleased to launch their new Service Centre for Laboratory Equipment, based at its Nottingham Distribution Centre

Offering a nationwide service with fully trained and authorised service engineers covering many laboratory equipment products, SLS’ aim is to provide a flexible service through a variety of packages that meets the needs of customers.

SLS’ capabilities extend to most routine laboratory equipment including fridges and freezers, incubators, shakers, centrifuges, stirrers (inc. hotplate stirrers), media preparation equipment, routine microscopes, ovens, autoclaves, safety cabinets, spectrophotometers, pH and conductivity meters and homogenisers.

With four service options available: Fixed Cost Drop Box Service, On site Repairs, Annual Contracts and Pipette Services SLS can offer something for everyone.

• Fixed Cost Drop Box Service offers ultimate flexibility for customers at a fixed cost. The Drop Box model is based around the provision of a sturdy and sealable box in which items of equipment can be placed. Once full and sealed, SLS will collect the box, investigate and repair any faults and return the repaired equipment back to the customer in the same box ready for re-use.

• On site Repairs. SLS offer an on site service where fully trained service engineers will go to the customer’s premises and repair any faulty equipment.

• Annual Contracts. SLS offer an annual contract model which covers a routine servicing programme along with an emergency call out service to repair any faulty equipment.

• Pipette Servicing Through Kinesis, SLS are able to offer an extensive number of pipette servicing options for all pipette brands up to and including UKAS accreditation where this is required.
