Never worry about washer manifold tube blockages again
Automated QC Checking for Washer Manifold Tube Blockages
Clogged dispense and aspirate tubes in microplate washer manifolds are a common source of frustration for many scientists. The clogged tubes often go unnoticed until after the wash cycle completes with inconsistent results and a potentially failed assay. The system then needs to be cleaned and the assay repeated; wasting time, reagent and effort. BioTek’s new patented Verify Technology provides a failsafe method of QC checking the manifold tubes for blockages before a wash procedure. Verify's ultrasonic probe checks liquid levels in microplate wells before and after automated dispense and aspirate cycles. Any wells with inconsistent levels are flagged as failed and are likely clogged.
The 405’s patent pending Ultrasonic Advantage™ automated maintenance routine makes quick work of cleaning both dispense and aspirate manifolds without having to remove any hardware. The powerful combination of Verify Technology and Ultrasonic Advantage makes the 405 washer a truly self-maintaining microplate washer.
The 405 Microplate Washers feature:
