To further support researchers studying in the field of antibody engineering, MtoZ Biolabs now offers a 20% discount on series of de novo sequencing services which include antibody de novo sequencing and protein de novo sequencing. This promotion ends on September 30, 2018.

20180914_1MtoZ Biolabs is specialized in quantitative multiplexed proteomics and metabolomics applications through the establishment of various spectrometry platforms coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography technology. Based on the high-resolution mass spectrometer Obitrap Fusion Lumos and extensive bioinformatics analysis experience, MtoZ Biolabs has established a new generation of de novo sequencing platform that enables fast and accurate analysis of monoclonal antibody primary sequence, protein sequence and mutation.

De Novo Antibody Sequencing

20180914_1Analysis of the primary antibody sequence is the basis for developing antibody-based drugs. However, due to the variation and modification of antibody products, the sequence information of most antibodies is often not included in the available databases. Compared with database dependent traditional methods, de novo sequencing technology uses an advanced data processing algorithm for sequence analysis. Antibody sequence can be accurately analyzed using the de novo sequencing method without database searching.

“Our platform is suitable for sequence analysis of different subtype antibodies, such as IgG and IgM, and different types of antibodies, including fluorescently conjugated antibodies, immobilized antibodies, and antibodies from different species. ” Said Mrs. Prime Jones, marketing manager of Mtoz Biolabs, Inc.

De Novo Protein Sequencing

20180914_1Generally, there are two ways for protein sequence analysis, database search and de novo sequencing. Database search method is unsuitable for analyzing antibodies, peptides, and proteins, of which the sequence information is either inaccessible or not included in any databases. For these cases, de novo sequencing is the only way to decipher the protein sequence. “Coupled with our professional bioinformatics analysis and reverse sequence confirmation, high-quality sequence analysis is guaranteed. ”

Advantage of de novo sequencing:

  • Advanced high-resolution mass spectrometry technology
  • 100% protein/antibody sequence coverage
  • 95% accuracy for sequencing the first amino acid
  • Minimum amount of sample required
