MtoZ Biolabs, an up-rising service provider specialized in advanced proteomics, bioinformatics and biopharmaceutical analysis, released a series of untargeeted metabolomics analysis services to further assist researchers study in this field.

These service series are supported by an LC-MS-based multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) and GC-MS-based single ion monitoring (SIM) metabolomics platform.

“With our unique platform, we are now able to provide customers with advanced analysis services related to plant metabolomics, microbial metabolomics and lipidomics.” Said Mrs. Prime Jones, marketing manager of Mtoz Biolabs, Inc.

Lipidomics Analysis Service

MtoZ Biolabs uses both LC-MS and shotgun lipidomics, two mainstream technology for lipidomics analysis, in lipidomics analysis. LC-MS is a powerful tool for discovery lipidomics, as it usually achieves detection of lipids at ppm level and accurate analysis of lipids side chains through MS2 fragmentation. Whereas, shotgun lipidomics is more widely used for (semi)-quantitation of targeted lipids.
