In a move that further strengthens support for customers in the UK, leading optical emission and X-ray fluorescence spectrometry company SPECTRO Analytical has appointed Jennifer Horner to the new role of UK Applications Specialist.

Jennifer has academic qualifications in chemistry, biology and environmental management, and professional experience in environmental and water testing laboratories, using a wide range of analytical techniques.

Steve Allott, Manager SPECTRO UK and Ireland, said, “I’m delighted to welcome Jennifer to the team. I know that our customers in the UK will benefit greatly from her analytical knowledge and laboratory experience as she supports them with method development and the implementation of best practice.”

Jennifer joined the UK team in April this year. She will be involved in all aspects of training on SPECTRO instruments and will focus particularly on looking at the individual application challenges that laboratories face, supporting the development of effective solutions to deliver the best possible results.
