Merck Wins US Search Award for 'Best In-House' Team
Merck, a leading science and technology company, today announced that its digital acquisition marketing team won the 2016 US Search award for "Best In-House" team.
The awards recognize organizations, agencies and individuals for excellence in search and digital marketing. "With more than 300,000 products, our website allows our customers in nearly every country to more easily find the exact products they need to advance their research," said Silji Abraham, Chief Information Officer, Merck Life Science. "Our digital acquisition team pioneered and implemented a centralized initiative to manage all customer acquisition channels. This is definitely a team award that reaffirms the strength of our digital abilities and ecommerce platform."
Merck's digital acquisition team built and scaled search advertising at the company to include more than two million active keywords in AdWords alone, driving increased traffic to the website.
In its fourth year, the US Search Awards is the largest recognition of search, paid search and digital marketing in the US, attracting hundreds of entries from some of the leading search and digital agencies and professionals.
