LTE Scientific are pleased to announce the launch of our new Labclave-L Series of lab autoclaves. Available now, the Labclave series has been developed with a strong focus on efficiency, sustainability, and user convenience, ensuring laboratories benefit from enhanced performance and an environmentally responsible design.

Key Enhancements

The new Labclave-L Series autoclave introduces several advanced features as standard aimed at improving operational efficiency, user safety, and overall performance:

  • Automatic pneumatically operated doors with an emergency stop function, enhancing both lab safety and workflow efficiency.
  • 20-program touchscreen control system, offering greater flexibility in cycle programming.
  • Armoured load probe, designed to prevent accidental damage, reducing the risk of costly replacements.
  • Air ballast system for faster processing of liquid loads.
  • Enhanced Operating Range of 105°C to 140°C to accommodate a broader range of applications.

To accommodate a wider range of laboratory requirements, the series is available in standard capacities of 150, 225, 300, 360, and 450 litres, with additional 640 and 730 litre models scheduled for release late 2025. Pass-through Labclave models will also be available at the same time, making them an ideal choice for facilities that require a controlled workflow or a separation between clean and dirty environments.

Sustainability at its Core

Environmental responsibility has been a key priority in the development of the new Labclave-L autoclaves. The new autoclaves have been designed and manufactured with sustainability in mind, from material selection to operational efficiency:

  • Manufactured entirely at LTE Scientific’s facility in Oldham, Manchester, using locally sourced materials wherever possible to minimise transport emissions and support the local economy.
  • Optimised design reduces raw material usage and waste, maintaining high performance while improving efficiency.
  • Easy-assemble panels minimise welding requirements, reducing energy consumption and simplifying servicing and repairs for customers.
  • Stainless steel construction minimises the use of painted panels, lowering chemical and electricity usage.

In addition to these manufacturing improvements, the Labclave series is engineered to reduce energy and water consumption, supporting laboratories with their sustainability goals while maintaining high laboratory sterilisation standards.

Available Now

The launch of the new Labclave-L lab autoclave series is another step forward in LTE delivering high-quality, innovative solutions tailored to the evolving needs of modern laboratories.
