The Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich was one of the first customers to work with the new pump. The high chemical resistance allows them to operate the pump without a cold trap, eliminating the hassle of refilling the cold trap with liquid nitrogen or dry ice. This not only saves time and operating costs, but also avoids the risk of accumulation of liquid oxygen in the cold trap.
