The Ultravap® family of blowdown evaporators from Porvair Sciences is proven to remove the traditional laboratory ‘bottleneck’ of solvent evaporation from 12-, 24-, 48-, 96- and 384- well microplates and glass tubes.

Designed with a flat front profile and platform shuttle enables easy interfacing with liquid-handling robots for high automation efficiency. Reproducible, high sample throughput is ensured by advanced gas injection technology that consistently delivers heated gas directly into each well and tube. Able to operate up to 80°C - Ultravap® evaporators can remove all chromatography solvents cleanly and efficiently without risk of cross-contamination. These evaporators are also ideal for drying sensitive samples as the bulk of the sample remains at ambient, only the surface is heated.
