Meet world’s first Mobile SEM - the Phenom desktop SEM. A fully integrated and accredited scanning electron microscope (SEM) with EDX to be used on every location for fast and accurate investigations and analysis.

The Phenom ProX is the ultimate all-in-one imaging and X-ray analysis system (EDX). With the Phenom ProX desktop SEM, sample structures can be physically examined and their elemental composition determined.

Besides point analysis, the optional Elemental Mapping and Line Scan software allows further analysis of the distribution of elements.

Now, the robust, desktop design of the Phenom has opened up new opportunities. By positioning the Phenom inside a car or bus, the SEM is turned into a truly mobile lab. This is the Phenom approach of SEM: as agile, flexible units that can be operated by anyone, anywhere.

The mobile Phenom allows SEM- and EDX-use anywhere, whether it is for asbestos analysis at a reconstruction site, investigating evidence at a crime site, or moving SEM capacity between different sites of a mining plant. No infrastructure is required, even remote areas can be targeted. The mobile Phenom is in full operation within 45 minutes after arriving at the site, and can be moved to a next location less than 45 minutes after the last measurement.
