Thermo Fisher Scientific to Showcase Anatomical Pathology Solutions at IBMS Congress 2011

Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science, today announced that it
will exhibit its latest products for anatomical pathology applications,
including the Thermo Scientific STP 420ES
tissue processor, Cryostar NX70 cryostat and SecureSette tissue embedding
cassettes, at IBMS Congress 2011, taking place Sept. 26-28. Within stand 408/414
at ICC Birmingham, the company will display all of its next-generation products
that enable reduced processing times, higher-quality preparations and leaner
workflows.
During IBMS 2011, Thermo Fisher will also demonstrate products from its Immunohistochemistry (IHC) range, including the Thermo Scientific Autostainer and Quanto Reagents. These products offer rapid turnaround times and a flexible, total IHC workflow solution. With a proven track record and more than 5,000 units in use, the Autostainer platform is the most widely used open IHC system in the world.
Within stand 408/414, Thermo Fisher will also show the Thermo Scientific PrintMate and SlideMate, the latest additions to its slide labeling and tracking product ranges. By promoting error reduction in specimen labeling through high-quality laboratory printing, these products help improve patient care.
