Thermo Fisher Scientific Introduces Downloadable Protocol Library
Thermo Fisher Scientific
Inc., the world leader in serving science, today introduced a downloadable
software protocol library for the Thermo Scientific Multiskan GO microplate
spectrophotometer. There
are currently 20 ready-made protocols available to cover a wide variety of
photometric applications, including a broad range of ELISAs and protein and
cell viability assay kits. The protocols are free to download and include all
of the measurement and calculation parameters defined in the associated assay
kit instructions. Researchers can quickly start using a new assay by simply
accessing the online protocol library at www.thermoscientific.com/GOprotocols.
The site also provides clear instructions on how to import the protocols into
the Thermo Scientific SkanIt PC Software.
This protocol library includes ready made software protocols that are capable of running commercially available or frequently used assays using a Multiskan GO microplate spectrophotometer equipped with SkanIt Software. The PC software controls the instrument and performs calculations to measure data. While the instrument can be used for other applications, the protocols in the library have been developed to work only with the SkanIt Software in the 96-well microplate format.
For more information and to download the protocol library for the Multiskan GO, visit www.thermoscientific.com/GOprotocols.
