A recent initiative introduced the new role of "Key Account Manager", taking the personal service offered by the customer's office-based Sales Co-ordinator onto the road and into the customer's premises to present an additional, and regular, face to face opportunity to communicate, solve issues on the spot and shorten already impressive customer response time lines. 

Key Account Managers have been appointed from within Co-ordinator teams in both Nottingham and Coatbridge Sales Offices to deal with a number of accounts in both industrial and higher education market sectors bringing their detailed internal operational knowledge and service to the customer's doorstep and back again to the Sales Office. 

The addition of a Peugeot Partner "Customer Support Vehicle" (CSV) to the SLS fleet provides our Account Managers with a smart liveried vehicle in which to make their frequent site visits with the added flexibility to move small consignments to and from customer's premises whenever necessary. The SLS "CSV" has become a regular sight on campus and customer car park alike helping us deliver the service as well as the goods.
