Purify your water with ease
Thermo Scientific™ Barnstead™ water purification systems are designed for you and your applications - from everyday needs to the most critical needs. Benefit from solutions that address the challenges of a shared laboratory environment.
Innovation
Advanced ergonomics, remote dispensing and innovative water monitoring technologies help you produce lab water with ease. Feed water monitoring alerts you to fluctuations in the feed water quality. UV intensity monitoring reduces the risk of false total organic carbon (TOC) values.
Flexibility
Design a configuration that best suits your lab. Choose from numerous mounting options, as well as flexible dispensing options. Many systems can be easily upgraded to allow for additional capacity. The portfolio includes two systems that produce both Type 1 and Type 2 water.
Convenience
Thermo Scientific Barnstead water purification systems offer simple, efficient operation without the need for maintenance plans. Aquastop quick connects enable cartridge replacement within seconds—even mid-operation. New systems come with start-up consumables for convenient and cost-effective ordering, and easy setup.
Thermo Scientific Barnstead GenPure Systems
Our Barnstead™ GenPure™ xCAD and GenPure™ Pro systems offer advanced technologies suited for your ultrapure water needs. These Type 1 water systems offer flexible dispensing for molecular biology and analytical chemistry applications:
- The Barnstead GenPure xCAD provides full control at the remote dispenser.
- The Barnstead GenPure Pro allows dispensing from a radius of 24 inches (60 centimeters) from the unit.
Both systems come with feed water monitoring and electronic dispensing for fully automatic volume control. TOC models provide a visual read-out of TOC levels and UV models offer UV intensity monitoring, designed to ensure accurate total TOC readings. Read more about this unique feature in our latest Smart Note: Why is UV intensity monitoring important for ultrapure water?
