Laboratory Monitoring Supplier Expands
The ever-increasing demand for monitoring systems in laboratories and hospitals has prompted supplier IKS International (Rosmalen, The Netherlands) to expand its operating base with the opening of a new office in Belgium. The new office opened on March 1st and will provide a one stop solution for monitoring, equipment, service and advice on the company's XiltriX® laboratory monitoring system.
Xiltrix offers a comprehensive solution for laboratory and equipment monitoring. Storage devices such as refrigerators, incubators and freezers and the products stored in them can all be monitored. Not only oxygen and CO2 but other parameters like temperature, humidity, door opening, pressure and flow can all be measured and recorded from multiple sensors, the results logged and reported, and alarms generated if necessary.
IKS International Managing Director Stephen Tierney said "In an increasingly regulated environment we are experiencing a high demand for monitoring systems from laboratories, hospitals and IVF clinics. Wireless solutions, with significantly lower installation costs, are particularly popular. This is a new area for many clients and we pride ourselves on being able to guide a customer through every step on the way to acquiring a system."
"We felt that we could take our experience from the Netherlands and put it to good use in Belgium. The specific customer needs there are not all that different, but they still need the highest possible level of service, which IKS International Belgium can now provide locally. We can offer the Belgian market essential advice and fulfil its monitoring needs, a complete cost-effective package," said Mr Tierney.
