Informatics for Automation
Select Biosciences, organisers of European Lab Automation (ELA) 2012, is pleased to announce that Informatics for Automation
will form one of the new conference streams contributing to the ELA conference
and exhibition at the Conference Center Hamburg, Germany from 30th-31st
May. As automation is becoming increasingly essential
in many medium to high-throughput set-ups, understanding informatics and how it
can provide efficient and streamlined automated workflows is incredibly
important.
This conference stream will provide delegates with an overview of informatics in automation and will include topics such as cloud computing, real-time data analysis, laboratory information management systems and supply chain logistics. With participation from some of the industry's leading experts in this field including: Allan Ferguson Senior Director Lab Operations and Automation, Merck; John Leonard, Principal Scientist in Global Pharmaceutical Development, Astrazeneca and Bernd Göde of the University of Rostock, this stream will be an exciting and informative new addition to the ELA conference. Delegates will also have access to Europe's largest exhibition dedicated to automation within life science, highlighting the latest developments in automated instruments and workflows.
