Cost, quality and availability, three reasons to buy •red branded Analytical Lamps

Full range of Deuterium / UV lamps available to order online

Stratlab has just published its definitive list of •red® (dot-red) branded deuterium (D2) lamps for UV, UV/Vis and HPLC detectors on its webshop.

Dozens of manufacturers of UV spectrophotometers / HPLC UV detectors are supported, including ABI, Agilent / HP, Beckman, Cecil, Gibson, Hitachi, Jasco, Perkin Elmer, Thermo, Varian and Waters. For hundreds of instrument models. All lamps are guaranteed for a specified number of hours.

“This is a great asset for our customers.” said Product Manager Judith Baker. “Having the freedom to simply select the make and model of lamp, see pricing and order. This removes the customer's need for an in-depth knowledge of lamp types.”
The •red® range of D2 lamps are often identical to the manufacturer's own but at a much more palatable price.

Lamps are supplied prealigned in a lamp holder or bracket, where appropriate. Construction of •red® lamps uses laser aligned jigs and focussing of the lamp on to a pin photodiode to ensure optimum lamp positioning and performance. In addition, prealigned lamps are tested on an appropriate instrument to guarantee performance.

As lamp lifetime is monitored by the controlling pc software, lamps are not typically shipped with inbuilt timers. Where still required, timers can still be included with •red® lamps.

The •red® guarantee covers lamp operation within the stated performance characteristics over the entire spectral range of 200-370nm for a period of 6 months, or number of hours specified by the particular lamp. Many lamps last long beyond these criteria, proving to be exceptional value for money. The guarantee is a full replacement policy, giving the customer peace of mind.. A full list can be found here

It is a simple task to select your D2 lamp at Just visit the "Chromatography & Spectroscopy Lamps" section, select the make of instrument and whether it is for a UV Spectrophotometer, HPLC UV detector and then find the instrument required.
Or you can simply search for the make and model of instrument in the search box at the top of the page, example search Agilent 1100.
