From April 10^th to 13^th, 2018, on the fairgrounds of Messe München, the analytica, International Leading Trade Fair for Laboratory Technology, Analytics and Biotechnology, will take place for the 26^th time.

It will be accompanied from April 10^th to 12^th by the analytica conference, during which scientists report on application-related issues from analytics. One of the main topics of this year’s conference is Big Data. The scientific programme of the analytica conference is organised by Forum Analytik, consisting of the Association of German Chemists (Gesellschaft Deutscher Chemiker, GDCh), the Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (Gesellschaft für Biochemie und Molekularbiologie, GBM) and the German Society for Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Klinische Chemie und Laboratoriumsmedizin, DGKL).
