CARBOLITE GERO is a leading manufacturer of high temperature ovens and furnaces from 30°C to 3000°C. With more than 100 years of experience in thermal engineering our products are used in research laboratories, pilot plants and manufacturing sites worldwide.

20180919Many of CARBOLITE GERO's ovens and furnaces are built to suit a clean room environment. Depending on a customer's requirement, it may be necessary to locate our solution in the grey area and the only access the oven or furnace chamber through the clean room wall.

Our Standard range of 250oC Clean Room (CR) ovens comprises nine standard models in sizes from the 30 litre model to the 1810 litre model which, once processed through a customer's standard material entry regime, are suitable for operation within an ISO 14644-1 Class 5 environment. All sources of particulate contamination are fully sealed and the ovens employ an enclosed brushless fan motor. Their stainless steel interiors are easily cleaned and gloss white epoxy exteriors prevent the shedding of particulate contamination.

For applications where temperatures in excess of 250oC are required, CARBOLITE GERO's High Temperature Clean Room (HTCR) oven range comprises 15 standard models with five sizes which range between 28 and 1000 litres, The HTCR range has maximum temperatures of 400°C, 500°C and 600°C. Once processed through a customer's standard material entry regime HTCR Ovens are suitable for operation within an ISO 14644-1 Class 6 environment. Optionally HTCR ovens can be supplied for operation within an ISO 14644-1 Class 5 environment.

CARBOLITE GERO's CR and HTCR ranges are available with useful options such as access ports for an independent thermocouple, viewing windows, frames to enable units to be stacked one upon another, lockable doors and fully customized through wall (flange fitted) designs which have also been frequently employed by those who require a General Purpose Chamber furnace in a clean room environment.
