FlexFlow - The gas cylinder, reinvented

Peak Scientific, a global leader in on-demand gas solutions for laboratories, recently launched their innovative nitrogen gas subscription service, FlexFlow.

20170216_4This unique monthly subscription gives customers a new alternative to high pressure cylinders, without the need to purchase and maintain generator equipment. FlexFlow is designed for those with LC-MS instruments in their laboratory who are looking for a more convenient and cost-effective solution for instrument gas.

While the benefits of using a gas generator in the laboratory are widely appreciated, not everyone is in a position to invest in new equipment or indeed, individuals may simply prefer to pay for gas monthly as an operational expenditure. FlexFlow has been developed as a subscription service which is ideal for these situations, combining the benefits of a generator (convenient, safe, on-demand) with the ease of monthly payments, similar to buying gas in cylinders. The innovative subscription concept means customers are paying for a service based on a guaranteed flow of nitrogen gas, delivered from a Peak gas generator, but crucially are not renting or leasing specific equipment.

Peak Scientific takes care of installing appropriate generator equipment to suit the customer’s needs, as well as handling the servicing and any unplanned maintenance, ensuring the gas supply is uninterrupted and available 24/7 on-demand. With long term supply solutions in mind, FlexFlow is available in contract lengths of 36 months or more, with discounts on longer terms. Customers can upgrade (or downgrade) their service level during their contract period, to match changing gas requirements as they add new instruments to their lab, with Peak taking care of adding or changing the generator equipment required to deliver the required gas flow.

Having specialised in the design and manufacture of laboratory gas generators for nearly two decades, and over recent years becoming an industry leader in their on-site servicing and maintenance, FlexFlow represents the logical next step for the company. Mark Flanagan, Head of Marketing for Peak Scientific, commented: “FlexFlow is a combination of everything we excel at, bringing our technology and service delivery together to offer a complete hassle-free gas solution for those customers that could not or would prefer not to own a generator. We believe it’s a unique proposition, developed in response to both customer and partner demand, and another example of what makes Peak the leading innovator in the laboratory gas market.”

Benefits of FlexFlow:

  • Less Costs -  Save up to 50% on the cost of buying lab gas
  • Lest Hassle - No need for cylinder changeovers and gas won’t run out mid analysis
  • Less Stress  - Your gas supply is completely taken care of by Peak Scientific, leaving you to    focus on your work.
