US 8586382 B2 which relates to a method and an apparatus for desorption of a blood sample from a medical test sheet comprising at least one dried blood spot (DBS) for the purpose of biomedical analysis of the blood sample. Discovery Park Enterprise Zone in East Kent has been awarded more than £6 million to transform buildings and create labs.
The share in a £100 million nationwide infrastructure fund is designed to stimulate job creation – the zone’s target is 3,000 by 2017 - and even faster growth, Discovery Park, the former Pfizer site near Sandwich, will invest the money in the refurbishment, redesign and fitting out of three vacant buildings – or parts of buildings – for employment use.
