Time for Change - Chronos Advance Launch Success

Cool Logistics successfully launched its new, innovative Chronos Advance™ shipping system and announced its acquisition by Pelican Products Inc. Along with the new acquisition Cool Logistics unveiled the new Chronos Advance™ aimed at setting new standards in the single use shipping industry at the recent IQPC event. 

Cool Logistics, one of Europe’s leading manufacturers of temperature-controlled packaging solutions, unveiled its exclusive high performance product which was universally welcomed by the delegates attending the IQPC event in Luxembourg. 

Utilising advanced insulation and phase changing materials, the Chronos Advance™ is designed to ensure maximum protection for payloads with standardised components ensuring simple, error free assembly.

The newly launched Chronos Advance™ is pre-qualified to a range of industry recognised ambient profiles and integrates a range of high performance features including: 

• High performance insulating foam and vacuum insulation panels with advanced phase changing material (PCM) technology.

• Phase-Lock features simplify the packing process by using a single temperature CoolPhase™ PCM. 

• Hibernation can be achieved at any point during transit by placing the shipper into refrigerated storage, pausing phase change within the shipper, resulting in longer temperature compliant shipments.

• Moisture protecting materials eradicating any potential damage to the product and labelling from condensation build up on coolants.

The Chronos Advance™ system offers a more compact, size efficient shipper that will perform to 72hrs against ISTA 7D standards and beyond 120hrs in real world environments coupled with easy packing and handling elements. 

Initially available to protect 2-8^oC shipments in 3 core sizes, extensions to ambient and additional sizes are set to be introduced. 

Cool Logistics off-the-shelf, single use Sherpa and multi-use Credo systems sit alongside the Chronos Advance providing a full complement of shippers to suit every customers individual needs.
