At Lab Innovations, the UK’s largest trade exhibition for the laboratory industry, professionals, scientists, researchers and more will come together and do business for the first time in 2020. On 4 & 5 November 2020, at the NEC, Birmingham, the show will open its doors to a visitors and exhibitors with a bigger floor space than ever before.

Despite the unfortunate start of the year, where trade shows throughout the country have had to be cancelled or postponed, Lab Innovations is scheduled to drive the business of science once again in 2020. 86 per cent of floor space is already sold out, and organisers predict it to be the biggest and most successful event of its kind.

Building on the record success of the 2019 show, which attracted 154 exhibitors and over 3,860 attendees, Lab Innovations will celebrate its ninth edition this year. The focus will be on cutting-edge digital tech that can increase laboratory sustainability and efficiency.

Attendees will be able to discover the latest in lab tech, source a vast range of products under one roof, and gain insight into data-driven case studies, such as those from Green Light Labs, that demonstrate the impact of sustainable initiatives in the lab.

Exhibitors are looking forward to launching their latest products and showcasing ground-breaking innovations at the 2020 edition, among them are Anton Paar, Cole-Parmer, CEM Microwave Technology, IKA, NOVACYT, Eppendorf UK, Huber UK, VWS UK, Julabo, Sartorius, and Scientific Laboratory Supplies,.

The exhibitor list includes many exciting newcomers, such as Mettler Toledo, Edwards Vacuum, TMQA and BMM Weston.

Industry representatives couldn’t be more excited to gather again. “I’m really looking forward to the industry getting back together, so I can’t wait for the UK’s biggest lab tech shop-window to open again in November,” commented Jaqueline Balian, Head of Laboratory Sector at GAMBICA. “I’m excited to see what our innovative and forward-looking industry comes up with.”

“For me there is no better opportunity to join scientists, leading manufacturers and industry societies than at Lab Innovations in November 2020,” added Chris Austin, Managing Director of IKA England. “IKA made a vow to innovate and we have been true to our word. With a range of incredible new products to offer, IKA needed a trusted partner to showcase them. We found it in Lab Innovations.”

In past editions, exhibitors have expressed their satisfaction with the show’s diversity and quality of business leads. “Lab Innovations is a lively and engaging way to meet a wide variety of visitors dedicated to leading their businesses with the latest industry insights,” commented Craig Sagar, Marketing Manager from Malvern Panalytical. Michelle Rogers, Sales and Marketing Director of Labcold, also commented, “there’s a very good quality of delegates that come from a diverse range of laboratories.”

To engage effectively with participants and keep the lab community connected, the organisers will assist exhibitors with a unique portfolio of digital marketing tools.

Each exhibitor can take full advantage of a multi-channel marketing campaign to help promote their company before, during and after the event. The organisers will work with manufacturers throughout the year, creating personalised material to offer brand exposure beyond their stand.

With a community of over 30,000 contacts, a monthly newsletter, social media support and online exhibitor directories, exhibitors will be able to promote their company and products in the lead-up to the event. Building on its reputation as an ideal tool for networking, Lab Connect, a free-to-use professional meetings service, will enable exhibitors to schedule meetings in advance of the show, matchmaking them with visitors who have a specific interest in their products and services.

Visitors can also earn CPD points from four free-to-attend theatre programmes – the Royal Society of Chemistry Theatre, the Insights & Innovation Theatre, the Cleanroom Hub and Live Lab.

With exhibitor space almost running out, this is set to be our biggest and most exciting event to date. Register your interest to visit or exhibit today on the Lab Innovations website.
