The new Frontier Multi-Pro, Multi and Micro IVD Series are fully compliant with the In Vitro Diagnostic Medical Devices Regulation (EU) 2017/746, class A and were designed to meet the rigorous demands of clinical diagnostics while substantially lowering the environmental impact by using natural refrigerant R290.

In vitro simply means ‘in glass’, meaning these tests are typically conducted in test tubes and similar equipment, as opposed to in vivo tests, which are conducted in the body itself.
