Synexus Earns its Place in Sunday Times
Synexus, the world's largest multi-national company entirely focused on the recruitment and running of clinical trials has been identified as a top player in the prestigious annual Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 league table, published on Sunday, 13 July, 2014.
This lists private companies with the fastest growing international sales.
To achieve a listing in the league table, companies are ranked according to their compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in international sales over two years and this is compared to sales at the start date. Synexus was one of 26 companies in the North West to win a place on the league table. In the national listings it has been placed in the 69th position out of 200 companies.
The company has grown from a single site in Lancashire to 24 sites across the UK, Germany, Eastern Europe and South Africa.
Christophe Berthoux, CEO of Synexus commented: “We are delighted to have been included within the Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 list which reinforces our corporate profile and acknowledges our international sales achievements over the last two years. The pharmaceutical industry has undergone some challenging times recently and it shows how organisations which can adapt quickly to changing times are able to seize opportunities and lead the way.”
Synexus employs a total of 537 staff with international sales growth at approximately 50% over two years, resulting in total sales revenue in excess of £36M. Synexus has current employee opportunities for clinical staff as well as in project management, finance, IT and human resources at its head office.
