New MultiTrack ELISpot System of Lophius Biosciences for T Cell Research and Diagnostics
Lophius Biosciences GmbH has announced the expansion of its T Cell Tools product portfolio with the launch of the ELISpot MultiTrack 12 x 8-well PVDF microtiter strip plate.
Lophius’ new ready-to-coat MultiTrack microtiter plates are optimized to prepare and carry out ELISpot assays for research and diagnostic applications in the field of immunology, infectious diseases, transplantation, oncology and autoimmune diseases.
Optimized for individual ELISpot assays, the MultiTrack plates allow maximum flexibility in assay configuration due to its Click-in frame with 12 x 8-well strips. They are ready-to-coat with common capture antibodies against various cytokines such as interferon gamma (IFN-γ) according to customer needs. In addition, with the highly flexible system small sample numbers can be handled efficiently. Besides ready-to-coat MultiTrack plates, Lophius offers ready-to-use, pre-coated ELISpot plates stand-alone and as part of the All-in-One T-Track® ELISpot kits for highest assay standardization and customer convenience.
With the customizable, cost-effective 12 x 8-well microtiter strip plate, Lophius complementarily expands its modular organized and well matched T Cell Tools portfolio of antigens (T-activated® proteins, peptides, cell lysates) as well as human and murine antibodies for optimal ELISpot assay performance. By combining Lophius’ antigens with Lophius’ ELISpot plate solutions, customers are able to design and order online their personal research kit to map and quantify T cell responses. As an ISO 9001 and 13485 certified company, Lophius produces MultiTrack plates suitable for research as well as in-vitro diagnostic applications following highest quality standards.
“We are excited to launch the MultiTrack plate system, as a key element of our ELISpot technology, which will allow us to efficiently further expand our portfolio in the near future. In addition, it allows us to directly influence quality and costs of this important product component.”, comments Bernd Merkl, co-CEO and Managing Director of Lophius Biosciences. “The launch of our MultiTrack plates is another important step towards Lophius’ strategic goal to not only become a leader in innovative T cell-based diagnostic systems but also to provide scientists the essential tools for their daily research tasks.“, adds Dr. Robert Phelps, co-CEO and Managing Director of Lophius Biosciences.
