CyBio FeliX - A New Pipetting Platform for a wide range of applications

The compact pipetting robot was the highlight of Analytik Jena’s trade fair appearance at this year’s SLAS, the leading conference and exhibition for laboratory automation and liquid handling in Washington DC. With its CyBio product line, Analytik Jena is one of the leading providers of lab automation and liquid handling solutions. The Company demonstrated the exceptional versatility and adaptability of its products using application examples throughout the event. Due to its modular designs, CyBio FeliX can be used for the automation of a wide range of laboratory applications.

Customers and users at SLAS had the opportunity to experience first-hand the benefits ofCyBio FeliXfor a range of applications. A special focus is on the high-throughput sample preparation of MALDI applications, on the automation of PCS and qPCR application as well as the automated nucleic acid extraction. A lecture by Dr. Timo Hillebrand at the Exhibitor Theater further expanded on the topic of automated nucleic acid extraction with CyBio FeliX. Specific application cases for the automation of SmartExtraction, a completely new method for DNA and RNA isolation, was presented.
