The new plasticware range includes microtubes, microplates and reservoirs that are regularly used in-house and recommended for use on both the PipetmaX® and Flexus liquid handling platforms.

Combining the most popular lines from Simport, Heathrow Scientific and Porvair, these strong-pedigree products are offered by Gilson UK to provide a single reliable source of the most respected laboratory vessels available for both manual pipetting or integration with automated liquid handling systems.

Amplitube™ reaction strips and Amplate™ microplates from Simport have been chosen for their thin sidewalls and bottoms which provide a more uniform and efficient temperature transfer, reducing PCR reaction time. Samples are easily recovered thanks to a low adhesion vessel surface. Also available are pyramid bottomed reservoirs from Porvair which are robustly designed and available in a variety of partition layouts. They are autoclavable and chemically resistant making them readily reusable and an SBS footprint makes them robot friendly.

Alongside these vessels, a number of storage containers are offered including racks for various tube sizes and polycarbonate cryogenic boxes that can be used down to minus 196°C. A downloadable pricelist can be found on the Gilson UK website detailing the available options.
