On March 22th and 23th, 2012 the 13th edition of Laborama will take place at Brussels Kart Expo-Groot-Bijgaarden. Laborama, an initiative of the professional association UDIAS, has become the meeting point by excellence for the laboratory sector in Belgium. Every year both Belgian and European exhibitors participate at Laborama in order to present their products to the laboratory professionals who visit the trade fair. Only one month after the take off of registrations over 70 companies subscribed as exhibitors. So it appears that the 13th edition will continue the success the trade fair has known over the last years.

During the previous editions or Laborama an increasingly large number of exhibitors participated at the trade fair. Also the number of visitors at the main laboratory event in Belgium continuously increases. The organizers of the trade fair aim at repeating the success of the former editions. In 2012 we will not only welcome well known exhibitors, we also count a number of new companies that will exhibit for the first time at Laborama. We can already announce now that several exhibitors will be present with larger booths than last year, implying that they will have more and new equipment to show at Laborama.

Companies that wish to exhibit at Laborama 2012 can still register via the Laborama website www.laborama.be. There are still booths available. As for the visitors to the trade fair: they can start registering through the Laborama website as of January 3th, 2012.

New at Laborama 2012 is the award ceremony of the "Analyst of the year". This award goes to the best bachelor in chemistry, biochemical and laboratory technology, environmental, agro- and biotechnology. The ‘Analyst of the year' award is yet another initiative of UDIAS, the professional association for manufacturers and distributors of laboratory equipment in collaboration with KVCV.
