BiobasedWorld at ACHEMA aims to put bio-economy technologies in the global spotlight

The bio-economy will be interfacing
with the real world at BiobasedWorld at
ACHEMA. The event will allow
participants to meet key players from the global bio-based value chain and
enable them to discuss new technologies, processes, latest developments and ideas
at one time in one place.
BiobasedWorld at ACHEMA gives participants a unique opportunity to experience first-hand the vibrant community that is constantly driving forward global projects focused on biomass, biofuels, biogas, biorefinery and bio-based chemicals.
Aiming to provide a stimulus for technology trends, BiobasedWorld at ACHEMA, will create a launch-pad for bio-economy investments and new ventures by featuring an exhibition together with an associated conference focused on the bio-economy plus a series of related Technology Transfer Days.
The Technology Transfer Days offer an opportunity for experts from academia and industry to present, in a series of 10-minute talks, their research and development findings as well as outline products, processes or services. They will also be able to propose or detail collaborative ventures or projects. The Technology Transfer Days will take place near to ACHEMA from 19 to 20 June 2012.
Session Topics for the Technology Transfer Days include:
Bio-based products for new commercial applications in energy, chemical, cosmetics, food and textile industries
A single page abstract (max. 200 kB) can be submitted via file upload at the following URL: http://www.biobasedworld.com/achema/achema-congress
All submissions will be reviewed by ACHEMA's Scientific Committee consisting of experts from international companies, investors and research organisations. The decision will be made on the basis of the submitted abstract for the Technology Transfer Days.
The deadline for submitting contributions for the Technology Transfer Days is 28 February 2012.
