Thermo Fisher Scientific introduces the Thermo Scientific™ TSX™ Core Series ULT freezers, designed to provide reliable performance and robust durability in a user-friendly solution.

The TSX Core Series ULT freezers offer easy operation for everyday use in the lab without compromising sample protection or workflow efficiency.

The TSX Core Series ULT freezers feature V-drive cooling technology, which dynamically adjusts to user interactions like frequent door openings to help ensure rapid temperature recovery and maintain optimal temperatures for sample protection. It undergoes rigorous field and laboratory testing, includes factory documentation and a calibration certificate and is backed by a 7-year warranty, providing labs with confidence in durability and long-term reliability.

Built for ease of use, the TSX Core Series ULT freezers integrate seamlessly into diverse lab environments. The freezers include universal voltage compatibility to support installation worldwide and customizable configurations to adapt to individual lab and research needs. They offer a 5.6-inch intuitive touch-screen user interface, giving easy access to key features like temperature warnings, calibration offset, passcode protection and system health indicators, as well as built-in USB and communication ports to facilitate compliance and monitoring needs. The TSX Core Series ULT freezers operate quietly at less than 44 decibels, helping to support a disruption-free workspace.

“Labs and research facilities require reliable, ultra-low temperature storage to protect valuable biological samples. There is a growing demand for more accessible, energy-efficient ULT storage that meets the needs of modern research without sacrificing sample integrity and freezer performance,” said Dennis Howe, vice president and general manager, Controlled Temperature Technologies at Thermo Fisher Scientific. “The TSX Core Series ULT freezers are designed to help labs meet their goals to reduce costs without compromising quality and compliance standards by combining reliable temperature control, robust durability and user-centric features. We’re proud to offer labs a dependable solution for everyday lab use, helping researchers focus on discoveries with the confidence that their work is secure.”

The TSX Core Series includes four freezers in different sizes: 19.3 cubic feet, 24.1 cubic feet, 28.8 cubic feet and 33.6 cubic feet. The TSX Core Series is currently available in North America and Latin America, and is expected to be commercially available in Europe, the Middle East and Africa on April 1, 2025.
