From 9 to 11 May 2023, the laboratory world meets in Hanover, Germany at LABVOLUTION, the European trade fair for laboratory technology and optimized laboratory workflows. Digitization, artificial intelligence and sustainability will be at the center of the trade fair for the smart laboratory in 2023.

As the leading trade fair for digitization in the laboratory, LABVOLUTION 2023 not only showcases innovative lab technology, infrastructure and automation, as well as solutions for optimized laboratory workflows, but also offers a wide range of opportunities to expand knowledge with various formats in the supporting program. "Our visitors want to find out about trends and innovations here at the fair but also expand their know-how, exchange experiences, make new contacts and educate themselves," explains Carola Triebsch, LABVOLUTION Project Director at Deutsche Messe. "Our ambition is therefore to create formats that promote exchange and knowledge transfer and provide new impulses to the laboratory sector."

The heart of LABVOLUTION, the smartLAB, presents a realistic vision of the laboratory of tomorrow in four use cases and a VR area. As a special display at LABVOLUTION, the smartLAB has been outlining groundbreaking as well as practice-oriented solutions for the intelligent laboratory of the future since 2015. Led by cooperation partner Smartlab Solutions from Dresden – whose expertise lies in the planning and realization of comprehensive solutions in the field of lab digitization – a total of 14 exhibiting companies present thrilling solutions at the upcoming event dealing with the subjects of automation, optimization of workflows, robotics and artificial intelligence. Visitors are invited to try out all use cases live on site in the smartLAB in hall 20 at booth C40.
