Hibiscus Launches Innovative Printing Solution
Hibiscus PLC, the leading supplier of labels to the hazardous goods and chemical industries, is pleased to announce the introduction of the Hibsoft Compact Labelling Station, the most compact waste labelling station available.
Providing a complete solution for printing full colour BS5609 compliant labels, in an ultra-compact and self-contained set-up, Hibsoft is ideal for harsh environments and limited space. The station also delivers all the hardware and software required for meeting hazardous labelling needs.
The printing station comprises a 19-inch monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse, as well as a choice of two printers – OKI ES741 industrial strength colour LED printer or CL-S6621 6 Inch Thermal Printer – and includes either a roll of labels, with or without pre-printed transport diamonds, or a box of A4 laser sheets.
Hibiscus’s Hibsoft Label Enterprise software is also integrated through an Intel Compute stick, eliminating the requirement for a hard drive to run the software. This further reduces the desktop space needed, making the station the perfect solution for harsher ‘warehouse’ type environments.
Hibsoft Label Enterprise is the one-stop solution for advanced hazard warning label production, fully supporting the new GHS /CLP formats. The software allows users to merge the same substance information with any number of different template styles to satisfy all their labelling needs from lab samples to bottles, drums and IBC's.
James Killerby, director at Hibiscus PLC, commented, “We are really pleased to have launched the Hibsoft Compact Labelling Station, what we believe is the most compact waste labelling station available on the market. The station provides a one-stop shop for all hazardous labelling needs, with everything provided for the end user, allowing them to get printing from day one.”
The launch comes in the same month that the company placed in the PrintWeek Top 500 print companies list for 2016. It is the second consecutive year that the Leeds-based business has ranked in the prestigious list, which ranks the UK’s top print companies.
Hibiscus were also named in the Top 100 businesses for return on capital employed – a list of companies that have been most effective at converting investment into revenue – ranking 57th in the list, with a ratio of 0.47.
James Killerby, director at Hibiscus PLC, added, “We are really pleased to have made the PrintWeek Top 500 for a second consecutive year. To place in the list is achievement enough, but to make the top 500 given our incredibly specialist field is credit to the hard work being put in by all employees across the business.”
Hibiscus plc has over 35 years’ experience in the supply of quality bespoke labels and is a licensed provider of legal documentation to the chemical industry including dangerous goods notes, IATA forms, and standard shipping notes suitable for hand writing or laser printing.
They are one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of ADR hazard warning diamonds and placards, with thousands of labels in stock, ready for next day delivery. The company also produces software for the classification and labelling of hazardous substances and the authoring and management of Safety Data Sheets.
