Micronic is excited to expand its Eco-Friendly Choice product line with the introduction of the EFC Refill Rack, a product designed with sustainability at its core.

The first-of-its-kind EFC Refill Rack comprises a reusable base rack and cover, and a refill system made of 99% in-house renewed materials, highlighting Micronic’s commitment to both environmental responsibility and superior functionality. This innovative Refill Rack is an addition to the Micronic EFC Rack Range consisting of the EFC Racks RM, which were launched earlier this year at the prestigious SLAS2024 event and are also manufactured from 99% in-house renewed materials.

The EFC Refill Rack emphasizes Micronic’s dedication to sustainable design. Both the base rack and cover are made from polypropylene (PP), enhancing durability and making the product ideal for reuse while simplifying the recycling process. Uniquely made from 99% renewed materials sourced directly from Micronic’s production facility in the Netherlands, the refill system undergoes stringent quality control measures to ensure no compromise in quality or integrity during the renewal process, guaranteeing high-quality, renewed materials. This solution aligns seamlessly with the growing demand for environmentally responsible laboratory labware.
 
Our commitment to sustainable design drives us to continuously innovate and improve our products. The Micronic EFC Refill Rack exemplifies this commitment by not only being a more sustainable option but also significantly reducing eco-costs and carbon footprint. In terms of performance, the Micronic EFC Refill Rack is designed to withstand a wide temperature range from -80°C to +100°C, ensuring reliable operation under diverse conditions. The refill rack is available in a 96-well format for 1.40ml tubes, supporting both internally threaded tubes with screw/push caps and externally threaded tubes with screw/push caps. This versatility allows the EFC Refill Rack to meet a wide array of laboratory requirements.
