Autoscribe Informatics Drives LIMS Growth in Australasia

publication date: Oct 15, 2019
author/source: Autoscribe Informatics

Autoscribe Informatics Pty Ltd has recently established new premises in Adelaide to strengthen and support the growing global presence of Autoscribe Informatics.

The expansion reflects the increasing business opportunities for the Matrix Gemini Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) in both Australia, New Zealand and the whole Asia Pacific region. The new offices provide dedicated rooms for technical, support and sales staff as well as a learning space for customer and distributor training. Matrix Gemini LIMS leads the market in system configuration techniques, ensuring that the customer’s exact requirements can be implemented without writing any programming code, leading to longer system life, lower costs and excellent return on investment.

Bob Blunden, Director Australasia and Asia Pacific at Autoscribe Informatics has overseen the development of sales across the Asia Pacific region including in India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Thailand, China, Japan, Korea and Indonesia, with expansion of the distributor network. He commented: “The versatile configurability of Matrix Gemini LIMS brings opportunities for use in a wide range of markets across the region including environmental/water, dairy/farming/veterinary, biobanking, mining/petrochemical, food/viticulture and research/contract laboratories.”

“We already enjoy a strong partnership with PT Agriya Analitika in Indonesia, who have represented Autoscribe for more than a decade. With well-established local sales and technical teams they cover both Indonesia and Singapore”, Bob continued. “We are now establishing a wider distribution network across Asia Pacific and have recently appointed Labcom Technology in Bangladesh, NV Genomics and Bioscreen Instruments Pvt Ltd in India and Infowiz in South Korea. These are all exciting appointments that not only offer comprehensive local knowledge but also bring specific technical and market expertise to the organisation. Autoscribe Informatics are committed to distributor training and support, ensuring that the customer receives the best solution for their laboratory or facility. We will be announcing further distributors in due course.”
