Starna Scientific extends customer support service with feedback initiative
Starna Scientific has introduced an updated customer feedback system to assist compliance with ISO 17025:2005 guidelines.
Built around a customer feedback/Lifetime Guarantee Registration form, the system is an integral part of Starna’s customer support service, whilst at the same time addressing the requirement laid out in section 4.7.2 of ISO 17025:2005 that states: “The laboratory shall seek feedback, both positive and negative, from its customers. The feedback shall be used and analysed to improve the management system, testing and calibration activities and customer service.”
Starna is an ISO/IEC 17025 and ISO Guide 34 accredited Reference Material producer so the company’s Certified Reference Materials (CRMs) provide an accepted, convenient and recognized path to UV-Visible-NIR instrument system Qualification. Full documentation on measurement, handling and storage is also provided with each set of CRMs.
According to ILAC, the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation, only producers complying with both ISO 17025 and ISO Guide 34 are now recognised as accredited suppliers of Certified Reference Materials. UKAS, the UK accreditation body, currently lists only a handful of accredited reference material producers in the UK; and in the sphere of UV-Visible-NIR Qualification, Starna stands alone as the only accredited producer.
As a result of the work undertaken to achieve this level of accreditation, Starna is also able to offer the end-user a Lifetime Guarantee on Starna® CRMs, providing they have been used and stored correctly, have not been thermally, optically or physically abused, and have been re-certified every two years.
